Carry Easy, Eat Fresh!
When every degree counts, keep your cool!

The only thing that I don’t like about our kitty parties is the loud- mouthed Mrs. Desai. She’s the biggest braggart I’ve ever seen! She’s always boasting about her new iPhone or her designer clutch-bag or about a Chinese pedicure that cured her corn! Yesterday’s topic was her sour throat that developed due to eating cold food the previous night. Why cold food? - Coz of electronics malfunctioning. Why the malfunction? - Coz of electricity shortage. Why the shortage? Coz…

Before she could reason it out, I barged in, “But Mrs. Desai, don’t you have the Insulated Easy-carry Hot ‘n’ Cold Cooler Bag?” I asked.

Cooler bag! The one you put your coolers in? How can you heat your food in it?” she asked. Oops, for once she had no idea what I was talking about!

“The Insulated Easy-carry Hot ‘n’ Cold Cooler Bag! Remember? The one that we carried to our ladies’ picnic to the Botanical gardens and you remarked on its ability to keep hot things hot and cool things cool?” I said.

Mrs. Desai was mum. (Phew, such relief!)

“Oh Mrs. Desai, have you forgotten the number of cool- drink bottles you emptied down your throat coz it was so frickin’ hot that day?” asked Sheena.

“Umm…err…” uttered Mrs. Desai and went back to the silent mode (by the way that’s very unlike her). But soon she sprung back.

“Hey, but there were burgers and the pasta- risotto I got from my place in that bag.” Mrs. Desai confirmed.

“Ah, pasta-risotto! Well the good, hot grub packed for quick, easy and healthy eating during the travel was in another such hot ‘n’ cold cooler bag. Actually, I have four of them. Two at home; one to keep fruits, juices, milk-products, coffee, and all that should be stored in cool temperature, the other to keep freshly cooked food warm. The other two are for outdoor picnics and road-travel.” I informed her.

For once Mrs. Desai was listening.

“And  when our husbands were in ‘such high spirits’ at my sister’s wedding, they were actually in the parking lot savoring hot kebabs and chilled thirst- quenchers that were stored in two cooler bags lying in the boot of your car!” Rimma added.

Mrs. Desai was surprised. Before she could recover and react, Sheena added,

“The same easy- carry cooler bag that you offered to carry all the way inside the garden; you knew it was so easy to carry, thanks to the adjustable shoulder-strap.”

“Yes! And you offered to help by passing the cutlery and the napkins from the front-pouch of the spacious cooler bag. So thoughtful! I joked.

Mrs. Desai’s patience reached its hilt. Before I could speak she interrupted,

“OKAY! Tell me where can I get the Insulated Easy-carry Hot ‘n’ Cold Cooler Bag?”

At Bindaas Bargain!” we all shouted.
