Globalisation made the world a better place – but not for everyone. Pretty, little Lucy Chi was born in China, brought up in Rome and stayed in India. Everywhere she went people would compliment the cute little girl. But this very cute ‘littleness’ made her everyday life oh-so-miserable.

Her early mornings: Lucy Chi loved spotlessly clean homes. She would get up and dust all cupboards and cabinets. So were all the fans, chandeliers, blinds and pelmets in all the Indian homes.
